A second person has been arrested in connection with a break-in north of Trenton.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Spickard resident Hunter Krawitz, 21, is charged with second degree burglary, a class D felony; stealing: $750 or more, a class D felony; and first degree property damage, a class E felony. Krawitz is accused of working in concert with two other men, Kenneth Bonine and Oliver Vandevender, to enter unlawfully a building at 39 N.E. 20th St., owned by Cash Flow Salvage Yard for the purpose of stealing. Items stolen from the building include welders, a chain saw, Hot Wheels toys, a table saw, drills, a log splitter, a hydraulic kit and various totes containing a collection of toys. The items were owned by Troy Brown, d/b/a Cash Flow Salvage Yard. Krawitz, who allegedly committed the offenses during several days in mid-February, is also accused of damaging locks, chains, a printer and glassware at the salvage yard location.
Vandevender has already been arrested in regard to the case, but as of Friday morning, Bonine had not.
Krawitz is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center on $15,000 cash-only bond, with a court date of April 12.
