Two arrests were recently made by the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department in Grundy County.
Tyler Edward Marshall, 17, Spickard, was arrested on Thursday, July 19 for tampering with a motor vehicle. Marshall is being held on $5,000 cash-only bond at the Grundy County Detention Center. He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday, July 24.
Christopher Gerald Hilt was arrested on Friday, July 20 for failing to appear in court, resulting in a probation violation, after being released from federal prison in Wisconsin. He was originally charged with operating a motor vehicle without a valid license on multiple occasions.
Hilt was extradited back to Grundy County, where he is being held on $15,000 cash-only bond. He will appear in court on Aug. 9.
