Several Miss Court Dates

Three area men failed to appear in court and were arrested.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 21-year-old Tristan L. Vencill of Trenton is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center on cash bonds totaling $3,300 after failing to appear in court on charges of failing to display plates on a motor vehicle, driving while revoked or suspended, resisting arrest, failing to display lighted tail lamps and failing to properly affix or fasten vehicle plates. In addition, he is accused of violating the terms of his probation on original charges of hindering the prosecution of a felony and making a false affidavit to mislead a public servant.
Also missing his court date was Joseph J. Neil, a 39-year-old Princeton man, who has posted cash bonds totaling $650. He failed to appear in charges of failing to display plates on a motor vehicle and driving while revoked or suspended.
A third man, Juan J. Gallegos, 34, Trenton, failed to appear in court on a class A misdemeanor of driving while revoked or suspended (second or third offense). He is being held in the GCDC on $350 cash-only bond.
All three men are scheduled to appear in court May 22.
