Two persons were arrested recently by the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department on unrelated charges.
Shannon Bardwell, 45, Trenton, was arrested in Wyandotte County, KS for failure to appear in Grundy County on a charge of non-support. She waived extradition and was returned to the Grundy County Detention Center where she is being held on $15,000 cash-only bond. She is to appear in court on Oct. 15.
Jace Cockrell, 22, Grandview, was arrested in Jackson County on a Grundy County warrant charging him with possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana. He is being held in the GCDC on a $15,000 cash-only bond and is to appear in court on Oct. 15.
