Three Are Arrested, Facing Charges

The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office has released information on the arrest of three persons, including a Gilman City woman charged with passing bad checks.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Michelle Johnson of Gilman City has been charged with two misdemeanor charges of passing bad checks and is being held on $1,100 cash-only bond. She is accused of writing a check on July 17, 2014 to Amoco for $56.30 and to People’s Co-Op on Aug. 20, 2014 for $45.
Two persons failed to appear in court, including Vanessa M. Davis, 20, Laredo, who failed to appear in court on a charge of displaying or possessing the motor vehicle plates of another person. She has posted $200 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 24.
Also failing to appear in court was Debra Neff, 47, of Trenton, who did not appear on charges of operating a vehicle on the highway without a valid license and has posted $100 cash-only bond. She is scheduled to appear in court March 24.
