Arrest Made In Rural Grundy County Burglary

A Trenton man is facing numerous charges after being arrested in connection with a recent burglary in rural Grundy County.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 30-year-old Tim Harding has been arrested and charged with first degree burglary, theft/stealing of a firearm, possession of burglary tools, tampering with a motor vehicle and unlawful possession of a firearm. Harding is accused of unlawfully entering a building owned by Randall Todd between Feb. 3 and Feb. 11 for the purpose of stealing and armed with a deadly weapon. He allegedly took 12 firearms that were owned by Todd, as well as a Honda 50 cc, owned by Faron Lawrence. Harding allegedly had burglary tools, including a ski mask and a police scanner, and possessed a .22 caliber handgun while a convicted felon.
Harding is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center on $35,000 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 24.
Also arrested was Devin Hand of Chillicothe, who is charged with three counts of passing bad checks. He is accused of writing the following checks to Amoco in 2014, knowing they would not be paid: on Sept. 11 for $26.65, on Sept. 13 for $28.10 and on Sept. 15 for $26.86. He has posted $900 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court March 10.
