Aug 25, 2014 | Law Enforcement, Sheriff's Office

Two area men were arrested over the weekend, with one charged in a domestic assault case and another facing a conspiracy charge.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 21-year-old Dallas L. Hanes of Trenton has been charged with a class A misdemeanor of third degree domestic assault. He is accused of causing physical contact with a female household member, knowing she would regard it as offensive. Hanes has posted $2,500 cash or corporate surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
Also arrested was former Trenton resident Daniel L. Harding, 28, who is incarcerated in the Missouri Department of Corrections. He has been charged with conspiracy to commit forgery, a class D felony, in connection with his alleged agreement with Lorilee Gutierrez to use as genuine six personal checks payable to Ms. Gutierrez in the total amount of $3,819.70. The checks were written on the personal account of Felix Gutierrez and were made to look as though he had written them. Bond on this charge was set at $5,000 cash-only. He was also arrested for failing to appear in court on charges of driving while intoxicated (drug intoxication), unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and operating a motor vehicle without a valid license. Bonds on those charges total $1,400 cash-only. He is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday on all the charges.
