Galt Man Charged With Trespassing

A Galt man is charged with trespassing after a recent incident.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Kenneth J. Pate, 51, was charged with the class B misdemeanor after allegedly knowingly entering and remaining unlawfully at a residence at 300 E. South St., in Galt occupied by Justin and Ashley Lea. He is being held on $2,000 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court May 27.
Also scheduled to appear in court May 27 is 58-year-old Brenda G. Tharp of Trenton, who was arrested for failing to appear in court on an original charge of not maintaining financial responsibility for a vehicle. She has posted $150 cash-only bond.
