Two In Custody For Failing To Appear

Two persons are in custody after failing to appear in court on unrelated charges.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Michelle M. Harding-Poortinga, 31, Trenton, was arrested Monday by the Trenton Police Department for failing to appear in court on charges of passing bad checks. She is being held on $15,000 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court May 15.
Also arrested was Ronald D. Hines, 28, Warsaw, who was arrested in Lafayette County on a Grundy County warrant. He failed to appear in court on an original charge of non-support and is being held on $6,000 cash-only bond. He is also scheduled to appear in court May 15.
