Three Returned From DOC

Three persons are being returned to Grundy County to face charges in court on Tuesday.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, those being returned to Grundy County from the Department of Corrections include Megon L. Switlik, 25, St. Joseph, who will be in court Tuesday on a charge of passing bad checks. She is accused of writing a $311.47 check to the North Central Missouri College bookstore on Jan. 16, 2012, knowing it would not be paid. Her bond is $2,100 cash-only.
Two other persons are being returned after failing to appear in court on their charges. Amanda P. Hampton, 26, Galt, failed to appear in court on two counts of passing bad checks. Her bond is $1,000 cash-only.
Forrest L. Shoemaker, 21, Trenton, failed to appear in court on a charge of second degree burglary. His bond is $10,000 cash-only.
