A fourth person is in custody in connection with the theft of all-terrain vehicles last week.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Colton J. Mathews, 21, who listed addresses in both Trenton and Milan, is charged with two class C felonies, second degree burglary and tampering with a motor vehicle. He is accused of entering a building at 446 E. Highway 6, where he allegedly stole two ATVs and a dirt bike owned by Jack D. McNabb, Jr. He is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center on $20,000 cash-only bond, with a court date of Oct. 22. Also scheduled to be in court that day are three other defendants charged in the theft, Tara Hendrix of Chillicothe, Stephanie Miller of Galt and Evan Collins of Meadville.
