A third person has been arrested in connection with the theft of two all-terrain vehicles and a dirt bike.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Evan J.M. Collins, 22, Meadville, has been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary and conspiracy to tamper with a motor vehicle, both class D felonies. He is accused of conspiring with Tara Hendrix, Stephanie Miller, Colton Mathews and Timothy Ashlock to enter a building at 446 E. Highway 6 on Oct. 10 to steal two all-terrain vehicles and a dirt bike owned by Jack D. McNabb, Jr. Collins is being held on $10,000 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 22.
Ms. Miller and Ms. Hendrix are already in custody in connection with the theft.
