A Trenton man is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center after being arrested in connection with the theft of a firearm.
Trenton Man Arrested For Burglary, Theft of Firearm
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 19-year-old Tyler Wilson has been charged with second degree burglary and theft of a firearm. He is accused of knowingly entering and remaining unlawfully in a building at 1304 Shanklin Ave., owned or possessed by Spencer and Deziree Lasiter. He is also accused of stealing a Bushmaster rifle, owned by that couple.
Wilson is being held on $25,000 cash or corporate surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 11.
Also arrested was Ashley Wilson, 24, of Trenton, who failed to appear in court on charges of failing to register a motor vehicle annually with the Director of Revenue and failing to maintain financial responsibility for a vehicle. She has posted $150 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 11.
