Charges of Assault, Stealing Are Filed

Two persons arrested recently were scheduled to make their initial court appearances today.

According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department, 25-year-old Jennifer Koenig of Trenton has been arrested for third degree domestic assault. She is accused of causing physical injury to Laci Dunn, a family member, by punching her in the face several times. She is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center on $2,500 cash or corporate surety bond.
Also arrested was Jason Lovett, a 36-year-old resident of Auxvasse. He is charged with stealing (third offense), a class D felony. Lovett is accused of appropriating condoms and a plier set from Pamida and has two prior stealing-related convictions. He is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center on $5,000 cash or corporate surety bond.
