Additional Charges Filed Against Man

Additional charges have been filed against a Trenton man who had already been arrested for violating the terms of his probation.

According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 35-year-old Ricky Shoemaker of Trenton has been charged with first degree burglary in connection with an incident in which he knowingly entered and remained unlawfully in a house at 2210 Bolser St. He is accused of entering the house for the purpose of assaulting a female and threatened her immediate physical safety.
Shoemaker’s bond has been set at $25,000 cash or corporate surety and he is scheduled to appear in court April 12.
