A Trenton man was arrested Thursday by the Kansas City Police Department on two Grundy County warrants.

According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Alexander Scott Redden, 17, 71108 Big Point Dr., is facing felony charges of conspiracy to tamper with a motor vehicle and property damage. Those charges stem from a September 20 incident in which he allegedly drove onto the putting green at Riverside Country Club in Trenton and a November 2 incident in which he conspired with Michael Arbarka to tamper with a vehicle owned by Charles Eaton by writing obsenities on the hood of the vehicle. Bond on those charges has been set at $10,000 cash-only.
Redden also faces two misdemeanor charges, including interfering with hunting, trapping or fishing by harassing Eaton while he was fishing. He is also charged with igniting, throwing or discharging fireworks from or into a watercraft. He is accused of throwing fireworks toward a watercraft while Eaton was in it. Bond on these charges was set at $5,000 cash-only.
Redden has been returned to Grundy County and is being held in lieu of bond, with a court date of Tuesday, Jan. 25.
