Two Are Arrested; One Faces Meth Charge

Two persons were arrested recently and are being held in the Grundy County Detention Center.

According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 42-year-old Clinton K. Sibbit of Trenton was arrested today on a Grundy County warrant charging him with possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana. He is accused of possessing methamphetamine on April 26, knowing of its illegal nature. He is being held on $15,000 bond and was scheduled to appear in court today.
Also arrested was Steven L. Munson, Jr., 34, Chillicothe, who failed to appear in court on charges of driving the wrong way down a one-way street, operating a motor vehicle on the highway while his license was revoked and driving while intoxicated. His bonds total $5,000 cash or corporate surety and $150 cash-only. He was also scheduled to appear in court today.
