The Grundy County Sheriff’s Department has returned two persons to Trenton after they were arrested in Tennessee on Grundy County warrants.

According to the sheriff’s office, personnel traveled to Trenton, TN, where 21-year-old Jessica Rinehart of Kellogg, IA, and 23-year-old Kyle Hoyle of Carlisle, IA, were arrested. The two are both charged with first degree tampering with a motor vehicle and second degree burglary and are accused of knowingly entering and remaining unlawfully in a building at 1301 Normal Street, owned by Jay and Mary Ratliff for the purpose of stealing. They are also accused of operating, without the consent of owners, the Ratliff’s Buick Lacrosse. The incidents allegedly occurred on Sept. 20.
Both of the defendants are being held in the Grundy County Detention Center on $20,000 bond and are scheduled to appear in court Oct. 12.
Also arrested were two people who recently failed to appear in court. Joshua L. Campbell, 29, Trenton failed to appear in court on two counts of first degree sexual misconduct. He is being held on $5,000 bond and is to appear in court Oct. 12. Jeanne M. McManis, 40, Princeton, failed to appear in court on a charge of failing to register an out-of-state vehicle in Missouri when a Missouri resident. She has posted $150 cash-only bond and is to appear in court Oct. 12.
