A Trenton man is in the Grundy County Detention Center after being arrested for manufacturing methamphetamine.

According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 30-year-old Curtis S. Wheelbarger has been charged with manufacturing a controlled substance and is accused of manufacturing methamphetamine by possessing glass jars (one with a slightly cloudy liquid), coffee filters, lithium batteries, aluminum foil and anhydrous ammonia. He is being held on $50,000 cash-only bond and was scheduled to appear in court today.
