A man has been returned to Missouri after being arrested in North Carolina on a local burglary charge.

According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department, 25-year-old Davon A. Jackson of Louisburg, NC was arrested July 25 in Wake County, NC on a Grundy County warrant charging him with felony second degree burglary. He is accused of knowingly entering and remaining unlawfully in a building at 2102 Haddox St., for the purpose of stealing. The alleged incident occurred on March 15, 2009 in a building owned/occupied by Everett Smith.
Jackson remains in the Grundy County Detention Center in lieu of $15,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 10.
