Three Are Arrested Over Weekend

The Grundy County Sheriff’s Office has released the names of three persons who were recently arrested, including a man charged with felony stealing.

According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 26-year-old Donald D. Baker of Barnes City, IA, is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center, charged with a class C felony of stealing. He is accused of appropriating a .38 Special Smith and Wesson revolver, which was the property of Jeffery and Catherine Behen. The incident allegedly occurred Feb. 9 or 10. Bond has been set at $15,000 cash or corporate surety and he is scheduled to appear in court July 27.
A Galt man, Gregory A. Gullick, 44, has been arrested for failing to appear in court on a 2001 charge of operating a motor vehicle on the highway without a license (third or subsequent offense). He was arrested in Buchanan County and is to be brought back to Grundy County today, where he will be held on $25,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 12.
A third man, 24-year-old Daniel Harding of Trenton is being returned to the Missouri Department of Corrections today after absconding from parole. He had been on parole after being released from prison on an original charge of conspiracy to commit burglary.
