A Trenton man and a Gilman City woman were arrested over the weekend, with one being held in the Grundy County Detention Center and the other returned to the Missouri Department of Corrections.

According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 44-year-old David B. Dowell of Trenton was arrested in Chillicothe on a Grundy County warrant charging him with failing to appear in court on an original charge of non-support. Dowell is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center on $10,000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court May 13.
Also arrested was 43-year-old Valerie G. Johnson of Gilman City, who was returned to the Missouri Department of Corrections after being arrested on a parole violation. Her original conviction was non-support.
