Arrest Made For Failing To Appear

A Trenton man is in custody after failing to appear in court on numerous charges.

According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 43-year-old Scott Schwartz failed to appear in court on charges of driving while intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident, careless and imprudent driving, having no insurance and no seatbelt. He is being held on cash bonds of $200 and cash or corporate surety bonds of $5,000. He is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 26 and is being held in the Daviess/DeKalb Detention Facility.
