According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department, 53-year-old Michael Boggs is accused of causing physical injury to a woman with whom he is in a social relationship by hitting her with his fists, a wooden cane and the butt of a knife. He posted $15,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Nov. 13.
