According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department, Baker is charged with three counts of tampering with a witness in a felony prosecution. The charges stem from an incident in which he allegedly threatened Boyd Beck that if he did not testify fraudulently in a sexual assault case, that he would pursue criminal charges against Beck.
Bond was set at $15,000 cash and he is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 11.
