Two Men Held In County Jail

Two men, including a resident of Enid, OK, are being held in the Grundy County Jail after not appearing in court.

According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department, 43-year-old Carl Fish of Enid, OK, was arrested there and brought back to Grundy County to face two felony charges of criminal non-support, for which he had failed to appear in court. Bond was set at $10,000 cash-only. He is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 13 in Division I on this charge, while he is also facing a new charge of non-support in Division II. On the charge, he is accused of not paying court-ordered child support for one minor child. Bond was set at $5,000 cash or corporate surety and he is scheduled to appear in court on the new charge on Sept. 11.
Also arrested was 48-year-old David Phillips of Lathrop, who failed to appear in court on a charge of passing bad checks. Bond was set at $25,000 cash or corporate surety and he remains in jail. He is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 13.
