According to Grundy County Sheriff Rodney Herring, 46-year-old Sandra Dupont of Trenton has been arrested and charged with writing the following checks, knowing they would not be paid: on Dec. 19, 2006 to China One for $5.35; on Dec. 27, 2006 to Hy-Vee for $40; on Dec. 27, 2006 to Hy-Vee for $80; on Jan. 3 to Hy-Vee for $80; on Jan. 4 to Hy-Vee for $60; on Jan. 9 to Hy-Vee for $100.25; on Jan. 14 to Hy-Vee for $40; on Jan. 15 to Hy-Vee for $85.25; and on Jan. 16 to Hy-Vee for $90.25.
Ms. Dupont is being held on $2,350 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 14.
