Man Charged With Forgery

Forgery charges stemming from a 2004 incident have been filed against a man being held in the Grundy County Jail.

According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department, Rodney Bellew of Fenton was arrested at the Northeast Correctional Center in Bowling Green on a Grundy County warrant. He is accused of making two computer-generated payroll checks in the amount of $283.28 each to look as though they were genuine. Both checks were dated Nov. 4, 2004 and a warrant was issued for his arrest on April 27, 2005.
Bellew is being held in the Grundy County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bond.
