Three persons have been arrested on unrelated charges in Grundy County.
Three Are Arrested On Charges
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department, 53-year-old Ty Bush of 1307 Harris Ave., was arrested on a charge of passing bad checks for allegedly writing a $273 check to Larry D. Barnes on Dec. 3, 2006, knowing it would not be paid. He has posted $600 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court March 13.
Also arrested on charges of passing bad checks was Oscar Rubio, a 53-year-old resident of St. Joseph. He faces two charges, with two counts each and is accused of writing the following checks in 2006, knowing they would not be paid: on Sept. 27 for $100 to Hy-Vee; on Sept. 29 for $100 to Hy-Vee; on Sept. 18 for $30 to Trenton Main Stop; and on Oct. 2 for $45.65 to Amoco. He remains in jail in lieu of bonds totaling $1,200 cash and is scheduled to appear in court March 13.
Brooke Marriott, a 21-year-old resident of 409 E. 10th Ct., has been arrested for violating the terms of her probation on an original charge of first degree endangering the welfare of a child. Ms. Marriott is being held on $15,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court March 15.
