A Kansas City man spent Thanksgiving in the Grundy County Jail after being arrested Wednesday for non-support.

According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department, 45-year-old Frederick Pannell was arrested in Platte County on an active Grundy County warrant charging him with non-support, a class D felony. He is accused of not providing court-ordered support for four minor children. Bond was set at $14,000 cash only and he is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
