A Milan man sustained moderate injuries Dec. 18 in an early morning accident investigated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
According to the MSHP accident report, Eric Lovett was the driver of a 2001 GMS Sierra truck that was westbound on Highway 6 one mile east of Reger. The vehicle went off the right side of the roadway, became airborne and struck the ground. There was extensive damage to the truck, which was towed from the scene.
Lovett, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported by Sullivan County Ambulance to the Sullivan County Memorial Hospital in Milan. The accident was investigated by Cpl. Pearson, with assistance from the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department and the Sullivan County Ambulance.
