Ticket Issued In Minor Mishap On Main

The Trenton Police Department was called to an accident May 27 on Main Street in which a driver fell asleep and struck a parked vehicle.
According to an accident report filed by Trenton Police Chief Rex Ross, the mishap occurred when a car driven by Gary R. Randolph of Trenton was traveling northbound in the 900 block of Main Street. Randolph said he must have fallen asleep and when he awoke his vehicle struck a parked SUV, owned by Cole Soptic of Trenton and parked facing north in front of 922 Main St. Both vehicles sustained minor damage when the left front and side of Randolph’s car struck the right rear of Soptic’s vehicle.
Randolph was ticketed for careless and imprudent driving by striking a parked vehicle.
