Trenton Man Held On Endangerment Charge

A Trenton man is being held in the Grundy County Detention, charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, William Kyle Swartz, 27, is being held on $5,000 cash-only bond and is charged with the class E felony. He is accused of acting with criminal negligence in a manner that created a substantial risk, to the life, body and health of three children under the age of seven. He is accused of not providing sanitary living conditions for the children and it was noted that this conduct is part of an established pattern as he pleaded guilty to the same charge in June.
Swartz is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 22.
