A Polo woman is being held on cash bond in the Grundy County Detention Center after her arrest on a drug paraphernalia charge.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Julie M. Ledford, 37, is being held on $7,000 cash-only bond after being arrested for unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia-amphetamine or methamphetamine, a class E felony, and driving while revoked or suspended, also a class E felony. She is accused of possessing syringes, a glass pipe with white residue and a spoon with white residue. Those items are alleged to have been used to inject, inhale or otherwise introduce into the body methamphetamine. She also is accused of operating a vehicle in the 800 block of Emma Street on July 15 while her driver’s license was suspended.
Ms. Ledford is scheduled to appear in court on Sept. 22.
