July 16: firefighters provided assistance to the Grundy County Ambulance Service at a Main Street apartment and at the airport. They also responded to a car fire on East 24th Street.

July 6: officers investigated a canine bite at an east residence and investigated three nuisance violations in the north part of town.
July 7: nuisance violations were investigated at an east residence, a south residence and in the west part of town (four violations). Officers responded to a peace disturbance at a west residence and to an assault at an east residence. A canine bite was reported at a south residence and an arrest for driving while suspended took place in the east part of town.
July 8: an arrest for domestic assault took place at a south residence and officers investigated property damage at a north residence and two nuisance violations in the north part of town.
July 9: 11 nuisance violations were investigated in the north part of town and officers responded to an unattended death at a west residence.
July 10: 12 nuisance violations were investigated in the north part of town and officers made an arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia at an east business. A peace disturbance was investigated at a west residence.
July 11: officers investigated reports of child abuse/neglect in the south part of town and the north part of town and made an arrest on a warrant in the north part of town. A subject was found to be driving in a careless and imprudent manner in the east part of town and another subject was found to be in violation of the city’s curfew in the downtown area. A nuisance violation was investigated at a south residence.
July 12: two nuisance violations were investigated in the south part of town and officers responded to a domestic dispute at an east residence.
