Woman Returned To Face Check Charge

A woman has been returned from the Missouri Department of Corrections to face a charge of passing bad checks for which she had failed to appear in court.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Department, Amanda Hampton, 30, who listed a Trenton address, was returned to Grundy County to face two class C felony charges of passing bad checks that had been filed in 2013. Her bond was set at $15,000 cash only and was scheduled to appear in court today.
