Several Arrested After Drugs Found In House

Several residents of a house in the 600 block of Monroe Street have been arrested and are facing drug charges.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, those arrested include 22-year-old Justin L. Kleihauer, 22-year-old Jordan L. Cabra, 18-year-old Keylee Vestal, 21-year-old Brittany Huskey and 18-year-old Emma Brown, all of whom have been arrested in the case, with all of the defendants listing an address of 604 Monroe St. Ms. Vestal, Ms. Huskey and Ms. Brown have all been charged with delivery of 35 grams or less of marijuana, a class E felony; hindering prosecution of a felony, a class E felony; and possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana, a class D felony. They are accused of possessing, with the intent to distribute, marijuana, a controlled substance, as well as possessing methamphetamine. They are also accused of not telling Trenton police officers that Cabra, who was being sought by authorities for arrest on a felony probation and parole warrant, was hiding in the attic of the home. All three women are being held on $20,000 cash-only bond.
Cabra was arrested on the probation violation warrant as well as being charged with the class E felony of delivery of 35 grams or less of marijuana, the class E felony of resisting arrest and the class D felony of possession of a controlled substance, which was methamphetamine. His bond was also set at $20,000.
Kleihauer, whose bonds total $30,000 cash only, is facing the class E felony of delivery of 35 grams or less of marijuana and the class D felony of possession of a controlled substance, but is also facing several charges in connection with operating a 2008 Saturn Vue while his license was suspended and while the vehicle had not been registered nor had financial responsibility been maintained. In addition, he is charged with hindering prosecution because, in an effort to prevent his apprehension for outstanding warrants, he gave a false name to Grundy County Deputy Tyler Ander-son when he was stopped. Kleihauer is also charged with a class D felony of forgery because he allegedly signed a traffic citation using a false name.
All of the defendants remain in custody and are scheduled to appear in court June 12.
Also arrested in an unrelated case was 22-year-old Patience Amber Loghry of Murray, IA, who was transported to Grundy County from Clark County, IA on Thursday after being arrested on a Grundy County warrant charging her with non-support, a class E felony. Ms. Loghry, who is being held on $6,000 cash-only bond, is accused of failing to provide court-ordered support for one minor child from Feb. 2017 through Jan. 2018, with a total amount owed on Jan. 31 of $5,500. She has a June 12 court appearance scheduled.
Misdemeanor charges are facing 28-year-old Zane Homan of Chillicothe, who was arrested for failing to appear in court for a probation violation hearing on original charges of misdemeanor passing bad checks and failing to appear for a show cause hearing on those charges. Homan’s bonds total $1,300 cash only and he is also scheduled to appear in court June 12.
