A Galt man is being held on bonds totaling $200,000 cash only after being arrested during court on Thursday.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Victor L. Tunnell was arrested during circuit court on Thursday while he was appearing before Judge Jack Peace. Tunnell had his bond revoked on a class E felony charge of hindering prosecution of a felony and on a probation violation for forgery, a class C felony. He is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center, with an April 12 court date.
Also arrested during court on Thursday was Bobby D. Morgans II of Trenton, who was already in custody. He is accused of violating the terms of his probation on an original charge of distribution, delivery or sale of a controlled substance, a class B felony. He is being held on $15,000 cash-only bond on this charge and is also scheduled to appear in court April 12.
A third man, Michael E. Oleson of Kansas City, was arrested for violating the terms of his probation on an original charge of driving while intoxicated: combined alcohol/drug intoxication-persistent offender, a class D felony. Oleson’s bond was set at $25,000 cash only and he is scheduled to appear in court March 27.
