Two Men Arrested On Grundy County Charges

Two area men have been arrested, one on a probation violation and one who failed to appear in court.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 51-year-old Gregory A. Gullick, who formerly lived at Galt, was arrested in Jackson County, KS on a Grundy County warrant. He failed to appear in court on an original charge of operating a vehicle on the highway without a valid license, a class D felony. He has waived extradition and is being returned to Grundy County today. Bond was set at $15,000 cash only and Gullick is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 15.
Also arrested was Gregory Baecht, 38, Trenton, who is accused of violating the terms of his probation on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $15,000 cash or corporate surety and he is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 15.
