Four area residents have been arrested over the weekend, including a Jamesport teenager facing drug charges.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Jamesport resident Breanna T. Clevenger, 18, is charged with possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana, a class D felony; unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia: amphetamine or methamphetamine, a class E felony; and endangering the welfare of a child, a class D felony.
She is accused of possessing methamphetamine, as well as a hypodermic syringe and elastic band/blood draw tourniquet with the intent to use it to introduce into the human body a controlled substance. She is also accused of possessing the methamphetamine while a child was in her presence, acting in a manner that caused a substantial risk to the life, body and health of the child. Her bond is set at $25,000 cash only and she is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center, with a court date of Jan. 9.
Also arrested was Clyde V. Foster, 22, Trenton, who is accused of violating the terms of his probation on two original counts of distri-bution/delivery of not more than five grams or marijuana, both class C felonies. His bond is $15,000 cash or corporate surety and he remains in the Grundy County Detention Center, with a Jan. 11 court date.
Also arrested on a probation violation was Samuel G. Adams, 30, Trenton, who is accused of violating the terms of his probation on charges of second degree assault. He was arrested in Caldwell County and is being returned to Grundy County, where he is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 11. Bond has been set at $15,000 cash only.
Jeffrey O. May, 41, Trenton, was arrested for failing to appear in court on an original charge of authorizing or knowingly permitting a person to operate a motor vehicle who had no legal right. May has posted $300 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court Jan. 23.
