Two persons have been arrested after violating the terms of their probation.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Frederick Pannell, Jr., 23, formerly of Trenton, was arrested by the Independence Police Department on a probation violation. His original charges were unlawful use of drug paraphernalia and possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana, both class A misdemeanors. Pannell will be returned to Grundy County and is being held on $5,000 cash-only bond. He is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 12.
Also arrested was Dorothy Archuleta, 32, Trenton, who is accused of violating the terms of her probation on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana, a class C felony. Her bond has been set at $15,000 cash or corporate surety and she remains in the Grundy County Detention Center, scheduled to be in court on Thursday.
