TPD Officers Are Assaulted

A Trenton man who allegedly assaulted two Trenton Police officers is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Jack E. Henry, 49, is charged with fourth degree assault and resisting arrest, both class A misdemeanors, and peace disturbance, a class B misdemeanor. He is accused of pushing, shoving and grabbing officers Jennifer Plummer and Keith Vance during an incident on July 19, as well as resisting arrest by those officers by using physical force. In addition, he is accused of unreasonably causing alarm to others.
Henry is being held on $3,000 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court July 25.
