Man Arrested After Failing To Pay Fines

Cash bond has been set for a Spickard man who failed to pay the fines that had been imposed on several convictions.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Richard A. Cornwell, 45, was arrested Friday after failing to pay the fines on convictions of driving while revoked or suspended, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, displaying or possessing the plates of another person, failing to wear a seat belt, operating a motor vehicle for which financial responsibility was not maintained and failing to register a motor vehicle. Cornwell is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center on bonds totaling $800 cash. He is scheduled to appear in court March 28.
