Brunswick Woman Fails To Appear In Court

A Brunswick woman who failed to appear in court has been arrested.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Carmen J. Menzies, 39, was arrested Monday in Chariton County after failing to appear in Grundy County Court on charges of unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana and driving while revoked or suspended. All of the charges are misdemeanors. Ms. Menzies is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center on $3,000 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 28.
