Two Men Arrested, One Posts Bond

A Trenton man is being held on cash bond for failing to pay child support, while another man has posted bond after being arrested for failing to appear in court or pay.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, 44-year-old Timothy L. Johnson of Trenton was arrested Dec. 14 by the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office and is charged with four class A misdemeanor counts of non-support. He is accused of not paying court-ordered child support for three children for the months of March, April, May and June 2016. He is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center on $5,000 cash-only bond and is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 27.
Also arrested was Tristan L. Vencill, 20, who turned himself in to the sheriff’s office and has posted $300 cash-only bond. He had failed to appear in court or pay as directed on Dec. 13 on original charges of hindering prosecution and making a false affidavit. Vencill is also scheduled to appear in court again Dec. 27.
