Three Local Residents Facing Charges

Three Trenton residents are facing charges in Grundy County after being arrested here.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Carrie A. McClain, 38, is facing a class D felony charge of resisting arrest. She is accused of resisting arrest on Oct. 31 when Grundy County Deputy Jose Lopez attempted to arrest her and she fled back into a residence and refused multiple commands by Deputy Lopez. Her bond is $10,000 cash-only and the defendant, who was already being held in the Grundy County Detention Center, is scheduled to appear in court Dec. 13.
Another Trenton resident, 34-year-old Levi G. Bell is charged with a class A misdemeanor of stealing after allegedly appropriating a Missouri license plate owned by Rapid Removal. The theft allegedly occurred between Oct. 24 and Oct. 28. Bell’s bond is $1,000 cash-only and he remains in the Grundy County Detention Center, with a court appearance scheduled for Dec. 13.
A third person, Daniel J. Wilcox, 40, has posted bonds totaling $300 cash after being arrested for failing to appear in court on original charges of failing to register a motor vehicle and not maintaining financial responsibility for a vehicle. He is also scheduled to appear in court again Dec. 13.
