Local Men Are Arrested

Two Trenton men have been arrested, one who was already being held on unrelated charges and has violated the terms of his probation and one who is accused of failing to appear in court.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Tyler C. Ward, 23, is being held on $50,000 cash-only bond after allegedly violating the terms of his probation on an original charge of first degree tampering with a motor vehicle. Ward was already being held in the Grundy County Detention Center on $50,000 cash bond on unrelated charges.
Also arrested was Casey A. Russell, 28, who failed to appear in court on an original charge of endangering the welfare of a child. He is being held in the Grundy County Detention Center on $15,000 cash-only bond.
Both men are scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 15.
