Four Local Men Are Arrested

Four area men were served arrest warrants over the weekend, including one who was already incarcerated in the Grundy County Detention Center.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, James L. Houk, 44, Princeton, has been charged with second degree burglary, a class C felony. Houk, who has been charged as a persistent offender, is accused of entering a building located at 78 N.E. 115th St., owned by Coon Manufacturing between Jan. 1 and April 6, 2016 for the purpose of stealing. His bond on this charge is $15,000 cash-only and he is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 25.
Richard D. Leeper, 38, Trenton, was arrested for failing to appear in court or pay on charges of first degree trespassing and peace disturbance. His bond is $300 and he is being held in the GCDC, with a court date of Oct. 25.
Marc L. Gardner, 33, Trenton, was arrested on a class D felony charge of non-support. He is accused of not providing court ordered support for one minor child and is being held on a cash-only bond of $9,500. Gardner is also scheduled to be in court Oct. 25.
A fourth person, Brian St. Onge, 33, Spickard, was arrested for failing to appear in court or pay on a charge of third degree domestic assault. He has posted $250 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 25.
