Two persons have been arrested on drug charges, while another is charged with domestic assault and a fourth is being returned to the Missouri Department of Corrections.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Avery T. Heitpas, 18, and Emily C. Hildenbrand, 20, both of Leisure Lake, were arrested for possession of a controlled substance after they were found to be in possession of more than 35 grams of marijuana on Saturday. Both are being held in the Grundy County Detention Center on $15,000 cash or corporate surety bond and are to appear in court Oct. 11.
Also arrested was Daniel J. Hurshman, 26, Trenton, who is charged with third degree domestic assault after attempting to choke a female household member on Friday. He has posted $15,000 cash or corporate surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court Oct. 11.
A Trenton resident, 20-year-old Justin Kleihauer, is being held without bond and will be returned to the Missouri Department of Corrections after being arrested for violating the terms of his parole. His original charge was possession of a controlled substance.
