A Galt man has posted cash bond after being arrested on a charge of forgery.
According to the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Victor Tunnell, 34, has posted $5,000 cash-only bond after being arrested on the class C felony. He is accused of authenticating an IRS refund check so that it purported to have been made by the authority of one who did not give such authority. Tunnell is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 13.
